When using the 'Project Objects to Multiple Section Views' command you are able to choose what type of object you wish to project (Points, Solids, Blocks, 3D Polylines, Feature Lines etc.) But what if you don't want to Project every object of that type that exists in the drawing...?
The answer is simple... Freeze the object(s) that you do not wish to project!
Another advantage of this method is that you then have the ability to project objects or groups of objects with more control. For example, you may wish to project several services with different sizes or colours. By freezing all but the services you wish to project, you can do them one at a time, allowing you to specify a different projection and label style each time.
Note: Once projected, you are not required to freeze the original projected object(s) because you can use the ‘Keep old settings for duplicated objects’ option.
Thanks to Andrew Milford at Autodesk for his assistance on this one...
Note: I have logged feedback with Autodesk that the option to select or deselect objects be included in future versions.
